Mitchell lost his hearing in his left ear this past July. We decide to get a Cochlear implant for him after a battle with insurance we finally got the approval that insurance would cover the surgery.

On Monday November 22nd Mitchell went to LDS hospital to get the Cochlear implant. Mitchell was excited I was too but a little nervous at the same time. He has been doing well only needed pain medicine once. He can't do any physical activities so no P.E or recess at school for three weeks. He has been pretty good about that so far. On the 21st of December he will get the outside part of his implant. Then it will be a lot of speech therapy to train his ear how to listen with his new hearing device.
